Shooting pictures sequentially with a different exposure
for each frame—Auto bracketing
Under some conditions, shooting with exposure compensation gives better results
than shooting with the exposure considered optimal by the camera. If you do not know
by how much the exposure should be compensated, select the exposure differential
on the Menu. Shooting is performed with the exposure automatically adjusted by the
differential already specified.

Set the Mode dial to the desired
shooting mode (P. 103).
● For A/S/M, set the A or S mode.
P or A/S/M
(The M mode is not available.)

Press
to display Menu. Select
MODE MENU from Top menu (P.92),
then select BKT (P.100, 104).
● Select the exposure differential
between each frame (
0.6/ 1.0).
● Select the number of frames to
shoot(x3/x5). In SHQ, only x3 is
available.

Set the record mode to except TIFF
(P. 111, 114).

Press the DRIVE button to display
the DRIVE mode selection screen.
