4.3.12 hood cover sensor (optional)

To remove the hood cover sensor:
1. Disconnect the hood cover sensor from the system board.
2. Slide the hood cover sensor 1 forward as shown in the following illustration.

CAUTION: Be careful when sliding the hood sensor forward. The hood cover sensor bracket and the
chassis contain sharp edges that present a safety hazard.
3. Pull the hood cover sensor 2 down and remove it from the chassis.
To replace the hood cover sensor, reverse the previous steps.
