1.3 Computer External Components

The external components on the display and left side of the computer are shown in
Figure 1-2 and described in Table 1-4.

Function
Provides airflow exhaust.
Connects a television, VCR, camcorder,overhead
projector, or video capture card.
NOTE: These connections require the use of optional
videl cables and the video out adapter included with
the computer.
Accepts removable hard drive. Holds primary hard
drive.
Enhances sound.
Attaches an optional security cable to the computer.
Allows for audio input; located on the inside and
outside of the display, can be used whether the
computer is open or closed.
Opens the computer.
