6.2.4 MPDS – setup
1 Opening the Phone and Modem Options window confirms the established
modem connection.
Select Nera Generic USB Modem.
Note: The setup for data transfer to the FURUNO terminal is based on the
Windows 2000/XP default parameters:
Clicking Properties allows checking the parameters.
2 Open the Control Panel on the PC and double-click the Network
Connections icon.
