5 Pull up the fibre channel module to remove it (B).
6 Store the module in an antistatic protective wrapper.
7 Install the slot cover over the empty slot, then rotate the retention
latch downward.
8 Observe the post-installation instructions described on page 38.

Installing the fibre channel module

1 Observe the ESD precautions and pre-installation instructions
described on page 37.
2 Remove the memory boards or memory air baffles from DIMM
slots C and D. See "Cold Removal of Memory Board" on page 75
and "Removing a memory board air baffle" on page 46.
3 Rotate the slot retention latch on the rear of the fibre channel
module slot upward (A).
4 Pull up the slot cover (B).
5 Remove the fibre channel module from its protective packaging.
6 Align the module in the empty slot.
