Using the Camera Connected to a Computer

Powering Your Camera

When connected to the computer, your camera
receives its power from the included AC adapter
(via the IEEE 1394 interface) or a compatible
battery. If you use an IEEE 1394 cable other than
the one included with your DCS Pro Back Plus,
ensure that it is a 6-wire IEEE 1394 cable (4-wire
cables will not work).
If you do not use the AC adapter with the IEEE
1394 cable, the DCS Pro Back Plus will not
receive enough power. An error message
appears.
