With this player, it is possible to resume play of s DVD
even when play has been stopped,

PressSTOP • once to enableplayto resume
from a pointshortlybeforethe DVD was stopped
when PLAY I_ is pressedagain.
• To begin playback of the disc that most recently been
played from the beginning, press STOP • twice to
turn off resume playback, and then start playback
again.
• When STOP • is pressed, "RESUME"
appears in the
display window for as long as resume playback is
possible. _f the function is canceled, "RESUME"
disappears.
• Resume playback is cancaled in the following
conditions:
• OPEN/CLOSE
--&. ( OPENICLOSE
on the front panel)
is pressed to open the hood.
• MUL'n DIAL on the remote control (when the dial
mode indicator is lit green) or the selection dial on
the front panel is turned,
*Another
disc is selected.
If youwant to continueviewinga DVDat a later timeor date,it
is recommendedto use the LastMemory functiondescribedon

Even after you have turned the player's power off, the
Playback stops,
player maintains in memory what disc was playing, as
well as the play mode, When power is turned on again,

Press O (O STANDBY/ON
on the front panel),
pressing PLAY _. (1_ on the front panel) starts playback
The player is put in standby,
from the last disc that was played in the previously
selected play mode.
if the playback is stopped and the player is turned off
during program play, random play, Best play, Previous
Scan, or Hi-Lite scan, these functions will not be
resumed when the player is turned on again and PLAY I_
(1_ on the front panel) is pressed.
