DolbyDigital,PCM, andother audiodatacan be
recordedon DVDs in a numberof languages or audio
tracks,lettingyou choosethe desiredlanguageor audio.
Changing Audio Type -VideoCD/CD
For enjoyment of karaoke or similar format Video CDs
and CDs, it is possible to select stereo audio, or either
right or left channel mono depending on the
requirements of the SOurce.

AUDIO--
Press AUDIO repeatedly to select the desired
language.
Pressing AUDIO once displays the currently selected
language. Subsequent presses rotates through the audio
languages available on the DVD.

• You cannotswitchtanguagesif there is onlyone language
recordedon the disc.
• Switchingthe audiolanguagemay not be possiblewith some
titles. In this case, the _IP mad<is displayed.
• For some titles, selectioncan be made usingthe DVDmenu.
In these cases,pressMENU to displaythe DVD menu screen
andthen makeyour sele_ion,
• Dependingon the disc.when the audiotrackis changedby
pressing AUDIO, thescreen may briefly pauseor shake.This
is not a malfunction.
• If a DTS audiosound_ackis selected, them is no output fTom
the analog audio jacks.
Press AUDIO repeatedly during playback to
switch the audio type.
Audiooutputchangesfrom "l/L" [Left channel) t o
"2/R" (Rightchannel)to "Stereo".
