Playing a video file or folder

Load a DATA CD/DVD with video
files on the disc tray.
"FOLDER LIST" appears on the TV
screen.
If "FOLDER LIST" does not appear,
press DVD/TUNER MENU.

select a folder.
Playing a folder:

The system starts playback from the
first video file of the selected folder.
To stop playback, press x.
Playing a video file:

Press ENTER.
"FILE LIST" appears.

select the video file you want,
then press ENTER.
The system starts playing the
selected video file.
To stop playback, press x.

of "FILE LIST" or "FOLDER LIST"
Press

repeatedly when "FILE
LIST" or "FOLDER LIST" is displayed.
To play back the next folder of
video files
You can select the next folder by pressing
> repeatedly until the last file of the
current folder, then press > once. The
first file of the next folder is selected.
However, you cannot select the previous
folder by pressing . repeatedly. To
select the previous folder, select folder
from "FOLDER LIST".
To return to "FOLDER LIST" when
"FILE LIST" is displayed
Press O RETURN (or RETURN on the
unit).
To turn on or off "FOLDER LIST" or
"FILE LIST"
Press DVD/TUNER MENU repeatedly.
Notes
• Depending on the video file, the picture may
pause or be unclear. In this case, it is
recommended that you create the file at a
lower bit rate.
• Due to the compression technology used for
video files, it may take some time after you

(or nN on the unit) for the

picture to appear.
• Depending on the video file, the sound may
not match the pictures on the screen.
• The system can recognize up to 150 video
files in a single folder. A maximum of 200
folders can be recognized.
Tip
If the number of viewing times has been preset,
you can play back the video files as many times
as the preset number. The following
occurrences are counted:
– when the system is turned off.
– when the disc tray is opened.
– when another video file is played back.
