Problem
| The line indicators do not
work properly.

searching, the unit starts to

program/search.
Remedy
Ye Check the settings (p. 11-21).
e The line mode selection is incorrect.

e The handset is in the stand-by mode
(p. 15). Press SEARCH V) or A) to turn
the display on.
o Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
o Programming is not possible while the
unit is in the talk mode, or when viewing
caller information.
` e Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
programming.
' e Move closer to the base unit.
* SEARCH [Y or (A) may have been
pressed when you picked up the
handset. Press (EXIT), and try again.
- e You cannot store a number while the
unit is in the talk mode.
+ Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
storing.
- $ To answer the call, press the line button
whose indicator is flashing quickly.
Start again from the beginning after
hanging up.
