2. Refer to Figure 2 and, using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, unscrew and remove the four screws
(4), lock washers (5), and flat washers (6) on the bottom of the iUP-Fast 27K personality
module. Remove the base cover (1).
3. Refer to Figure 2 and, using a 3/16-inch hex nut driver, remove the four hex stand-offs (7) that
fasten the printed circuit board (2) to the front panel (3). Remove the printed circuit board.
4. Refer to Figure 3 and replace the PROM in U14 (1) with the PROM from the upgrade kit.

he PROM ' s pin 1 must be oriented as shown in Figure 3.
5. Refer to Figure 3 and replace the PAL in U32 (2) with the PAL from the upgrade kit.

6. Place the board label on the printed circuit board in the position (3) shown in Figure 3.
