Adjusting the basic position of the foot brake lever

Warning
Danger of accidents The brake system will fail if it overheats or is adjusted incorrectly.
If there is no free travel on the foot brake lever, pressure builds up in the brake system on the rear
brake.
Set the free travel on the foot brake lever in accordance with the specification.
Ensure that the adjustment steps are performed properly. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be glad
to help.)
Push hand brake lever forward.
Adjust the basic position of the hand brake lever to your hand
size by turning adjusting screw
Info
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to decrease the
distance between the hand brake lever and the han-
dlebar.
Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to increase
the distance between the hand brake lever and the han-
dlebar.
The range of adjustment is limited.
Only turn the adjusting screw by hand, and do not use
force.
Do not make any adjustments while riding.

Remove screws
with the foot brake lever stub.
Move the foot brake lever stub into desired position
Mount and tighten screws
