Operation
To enter the dial menu operation mode

Push the search dial in and set it to the jog mode. *
Press the STOP button to put the BVU-900P in the stop mode.
If a cassette is not inserted, skip this step.
Set the selectors below as follows:
CTL/TC/DIAL MENU selector: DIAL MENU
REMOTE/LOCAL selector: LOCAL
The BVU-900P now goes into the dial menu operation mode and one of the setup
items (103 to 220 as listed in the table) will be displayed on the monitor. * *
Turn the search dial while pressing the MENU button.
Turn it clockwise and the higher numbered setup item appears on the monitor.
Turn it counterclockwise for the lower.
Stop the dial when the desired setup item is displayed and then release the MENU
button. The desired setup item is selected. For operation with each setup item, see
the following sections.
To exit the dial menu operation mode
Press the search dial or set the CTL/TC/DIAL MENU selector to TC or to CTL.
The menu displayed disappears and the BVU-900P exits the dial menu operation
mode.
*The SHUTTLE/JOG lamp does not light in the dial
menu operation mode.
But, if the search dial turns freely, you are operating in
the jog mode. If it does not, you are operating in the
shuttle mode.
* *Press only the MENU button, not the search dial, to
display the function item number which is currently
selected on the time counter display.
