Recording
Press the button corresponding to the source to be recorded:
— 15 for an auxiliary source.
— 12 for an audio digital disk.
— 11 for a radio broadcast.
— 10 for records (33 or 45 rpm).
Adjust the volume to your liking. The volume control does not affect the
quality of the signal being recorded.
Tape copy
You can copy recordings if you have another tape recorder at your
disposal (recorder 2) connected to sockets 21 and 28:
® Copy from recorder 1 (playback) onto recorder 2 (recording).
— Press button 13: The TAPE 1/Monitor lamp lights up.
® Copy from recorder 2 (playback) onto recorder 1 (recording).
— Press button 14: the TAPE 2/DAT lamp lights up.
Note: Tape recorder 2 can be replaced by a hifi video cassette
recorder.
Checking the recording standard
You can check the standard of the recording being made if your
recorder has a supplementary magnetic head allowing the recording to
be monitored simultaneously.
This is only possible with a recording made by recorder 1. To do this
connect the recorder to the jacks 22 and 27.
— Press one of the buttons 10, 11, 12, 14 or 15, depending on the
source to be recorded.
— Press button 13: the TAPE 1/Monitor lamp lights up.
Balance
Direct 6 key must be released.
