Controls
Common Controls:
•
P-Gain is the proportional component of the
control loop.
•
Integral for the control loop in seconds.
•
Min and Max Speeds allow user to tailor the
controls to the application.
•
Start Speed ensures refrigerant movement during
start-up phase of the circuit.
•
Failover Speed allows for fault tolerance of
sensors in the system.
•
Maximum/Minimum SP – Restriction values for
the SP.
•
Off Delay and Off Speed – When fan turns off it
still runs for this delay at this speed.
Ambient-based SP control:
•
Uses chiller Capacity Compensation algorithm.
•
Resulting SP includes also the dynamic portion
based on the following parameters:
–
Minimum Approach allows for fine tuning of
dry bulb operation of the coils
–
Maximum Approach works with the aspects
of the chiller to optimize efficiency across the
range of operation
