PROBLEM
Awning motor stops
while pressing open
(down) or close (up)
button.
Awning motor does
not respond to aw-
ning remote.
Awning motor travels
in wrong direction
when open (down)
or close (up) button
is pressed.
Awning does not fully
extend, or extends
too far (fabric sags).
Awning extends too
far, then motor begins
to back-wind. (Aw-
ning motor continues
to run out while fabric
wraps around roller
tube backwards, pull-
ing lead rail closed.)
Awning does not ful-
ly close, or lead rail
moves out slightly
after awning closes.
AWNING MOTOR AND REMOTE
CAUSE
Awning remote will turn off (caus-
ing the motor to stop) if the open or
close button is pressed and held for
approximately 10 seconds.
Motor will not operate for approxi-
mately 30 seconds after awning is
closed by wind sensor.
Remote batteries may be spent.
Remote is not activated (programmed
to motor), or remote programming is
corrupt.
Awning is disconnected from power
source.
RV or power source breaker is
tripped, or fuse is blown.
A power line switch is off, or ignition
disconnect switch is on.
RV battery has discharged. (Applies
only if inverter is installed.)
Inverter has malfunctioned (if in-
stalled).
Remote programming for motor rota-
tion is incorrect.
Awning out limit is set incorrectly.
Awning out limit is not programmed. Reset programming. See "Reset Motor And Remote" section.
Awning back-release feature is en-
abled.
Press either the open or close button briefly to actuate awning
during normal operation.
If programming motor and remote, release button and
press again until desired position is reached.
Power motor off then on to temporarily bypass delay.
Press either the open or close button briefly to verify LED
lights momentarily (on remote). If LED does not light, install
new battery. See "Battery Replacement" section.
If remote is added from a kit, see kit instructions to activate.
Motor and remote may need to be reset. See "Reset Motor
And Remote" section.
Check all power connections.
Reset breaker, or replace fuse as necessary. If this issue
persists, contact a qualified service technician.
Turn power line switch on, or ignition switch off.
Recharge RV battery.
Connect to residential power source to verify awning func-
tionality. Contact a qualified service technician.
The motor and remote will need to be reprogrammed to
change direction on remote. See "Reset Motor And Remote"
section.
Reset limit. See "Reset Awning Out Limit" section.
Disable back-release feature:
Press and hold the open (down arrow) and stop buttons
simultaneously until awning motor jogs.
If back-release feature will not disable normally, a program
reset may be necessary. See "Reset Motor And Remote"
section.
