1 POWER indicator
The indicator lights in green when the unit is turned
on.
It flashes in red in the following cases:
• The ventilation fans have stopped rotating.
• A power load exceeds the specified level.
2 DC STATUS indicator
The indicator lights in green when the unit switches to
DC power.
It flashes in red when the battery voltage falls below
the specified level while the unit is operating on a
battery pack.
Note
Although power is supplied to the internal boards
while this indicator is flashing, the indicator
momentarily lights in red if the voltage falls further,
then power supply to the boards soon stops.
When this indicator starts flashing, replace the battery
as soon as possible.
Battery remaining standard: When operating the
unit on a BP-L60A battery pack with two BKPF-
L-series boards of 1.3 A current drain, it takes
about 10 minutes from the time the indicator starts
flashing until the power supply stops.
3 Mount holes for handle (left side)
An optional handle (3-419-372-31) can be attached
using two K4×14 Phillips screws. For attaching the
handle, a pair of handle tables (2-253-306-31) is also
required.

POWER DC STATUS
1 ~AC IN connector
To supply AC power to the unit, connect to an AC
power supply using one of the following power cords:
Model available in North America:
Model available in the United Kingdom:
2 DC IN connector
Used to connect a rechargeable battery.
An AC power can also be connected via an appropriate
AC adaptor.
3 U (signal ground) terminal
For signal ground. Connect a ground wire as required.
4 Cover plates
Remove the corresponding plates to install the optional
boards.
Notes
• Noise may occur in video and audio signals at the
moment the unit switches from AC power to DC
power or vice versa.
• AC power supply to the AC IN connector always
takes priority over power supply to the DC IN
connector. Therefore, the unit cannot switch to DC
power while a power supply is connected via the AC
IN connector.
