5. MONITOR FUNCTIONS AND THEIR USE

(3) Sequence program created by using a PC CPU
A sequence program which satisfies the following items is necessary.
However, it is not necessary to create the following sequence program
if the sequence program data for doing monitoring control can be used
as is.
(a) Data collection trigger
A sequence program is necessary to turn ON and OFF the bit device
by which data collection liming is to be determined when designat-
ing the leading edge and falling edge of a bit device.
(b) Monitor device
A sequence program is necessary which stores 0 to 32767 data to
the word device which designates the character string to be dis-
played.

The following table indicates (a) the ranges of the set values in each window,
and (b) the number of possible monitoring condition settings for displaying a
character string by using a word device.
