If a code starting with a letter of the
alphabet appears, your camera has a self-
diagnosis display. The last two digits
(indicated by if]D) will dil]cr depending (m
the state of the camera.
If you are unable to solve the problem even
after trying the lollowing corrective actions
a low times, contact your Sony dealer or
local authorized Sony service facility.

hardware. Turn the power off and on
again.

• The camera cannot read or write data on
the "Memory Stick Duo". Re-insert the
"Memory Stick Duo" sc'_eral times.
• An unformatted "Memory Stick Duo" is
inserted. Format the "Memory Stick
Duo" (page 49).
• The inserted "Memory Stick Duo"
cannot be used with your camera, or the
data is damaged. Insert a nc_ "MemoU
Stick Duo" (page 9(}).

Initialize the camera (page 51), then
turn the power on again.

the instructions.
• The battery level is low. Charge the
battery pack (_ step 1 in "Read This
First"). Depending on the conditions of
use or the type of battery, the indicator
may flash men though there are still 5
to 10 minutes of remaining battery time
left.
For "InfoLITHIUM" battery only
• Tiffs battery pack is not a
"InfoLITHIUM" type.
