The image colors are not correct.
•
Picture Effecl ltlnclion is aclivaled. Cancel the Picture Efl_l:t function (page 35).
Noise appears in the image when you view the screen in a dark place.
• The camera is altempting to increase Ihe visibility of the screen by lemporarily hrighlening
tile image under condilions of low ilhlminalion. There is no effect on the recoMed image.
The eyes of the subject come out red.
• Set [Red Eye Reduction] in the _ (Setup) menu to IOn] (page 46).
• Shoot the subject at a distance closer than the recommended shooting distance using the flash
(_ step 5 in "Read This Fir*t').
• Light the room and shoot Ihe subject.
Cannot shoot images in succession.
• The "Memory Slick Duo" is full. Delele unnecessary images (-_ ,step 6 itz "Read This Fir,st").
• The batlery level is low. Install charged batler 5 pack.
Refer to "Computers" (page 82) in coi_junction with the following items.
Your camera cannot play back images.
• Set the mode s_itch to [_ (page 24).
• The folder/file name has been changed on your computer.
• When an image file has been processed by a computer or when the image file was recorded
using a model other than that of your camera, playback on your camera is not guaranteed.
• The camera is in USB mode. Delete the USB communication (page 61 ).
The image appears rough right after playback starts.
• The image may appear rough right after phtyhack slarts due to image processing. This is nol a
malfunction.
The image does not appear on the TV screen.
• Check [Video out] to see if the video output signal of your camera is set to the color system of
your TV (page 52).
• Check whether the connection is conect (page 75).
• The USB cable is connected. Disconnect it according to the correct procedure (page 61).
The image does not appear on the screen.
• If Ihe AV cahle is connected, disconnect it (page 75).
