The USB device is not
recognized.
Problems and solutions
• Try the l'ollowing: (_) Turn the syslem off. @ Remove and reconnect the USB
device. @ Turn the system on.
• Make sure lhal the USB device is securely connected to the _ (USB) port.
• Check if the USB device or a cable is damaged.
• Check if the USB device is on.
• If the USB device is connected via a USB hub, disconnect it and connect the
USB device directly to the unit.
S-AIR
Symptom
Wireless transmission is not
activated. (The indicator of the
S-AIR sub unit flashes green
slowly or turns red.)
Therc is no sound from the
S-AIR sub unit, noise is heard
from the S-AIR sub unit, or
sound from the S-AIR sub unit
skips.
Problems and solutions
• Check that the wireless transceiver is inserted corrcctly into the unit and S-AIR
sub unit (page 27).
• Conl'irm the S-AIR IDs of the unit and S-AIR sub unit (page 46).
• Conl'irm the pairing setting (page 48).
• See "If wireless transmission is unstable" (page 49).
• Sound transmission is poor. Move the S-AIR sub unit so that the indicator turns
green.
• Move the system away from other wireless devices.
• Avoid using any other wireless devices.
• If you use another S-AIR main unit, place it more than 25 feet (8 meters) away
from the unit.
• Place the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub unit closer together.
• Avoid use of equipment that generates electromagnetic energy, such as a
microwave ()veil.
• Place the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub unit away from other wireless
products.
• See "If wireless transmission is unstable" (page 49).
• Change the S-AIR ID settings of the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub unit.
• Turn off the system and S-AIR sub unit, then turn them on.
