5.2.5 PIP (Picture-in-Picture)

Before this feature can be activated; it requires that Parental Control, Parental Lock Enable option to be
set to Off, if not a message asking to check the Parental Control feature will appear on the screen.
Press the ▲ or ▼ button to highlight the PIP option.
Press the ◄ or ► button to select it.
Press the ▲ or ▼ button. A separate menu will appear with the following PIP settings.
PIP Style
Press the ▼ button to highlight the PIP Style selection.
Press the ◄ or ► button to select Off, PIP or POP(Picture-
outside picture). In the PIP mode a smaller sub screen will be
displayed on top of the main screen. For the POP mode the
main screen and sub screen will be of equal size and be
positioned side by side.
Alternatively, you can press the PIP button on the remote to
change the PIP mode.
PIP Input
When PIP or POP is selected,
Press the ▼ button to highlight the PIP input selection.
Press the ◄ or ► button to choose the input source for the sub
screen. The input sources available will vary according to
which input is used for the main screen; see the table below to find which inputs can PIP/POP with each
other.
See below for detailed information regarding the PIP sources.
PIP Size
When PIP is selected, Press the ▼ button to highlight the PIP size selection.
Press the ◄ or ► button to choose Small, Medium or Large.
PIP Position
When PIP is selected, Press the ▼ button to highlight the PIP position selection.
Press the ◄ or ► button to choose where on the picture you want the PIP screen positioned over the
main screen.
Main Input
If PIP feature is being used, the Main Input will display which type of input is being viewed in the main
screen.
Note:
When the
Ø
symbol shows in the menu display, it indicates that such a feature or option is
not applicable to the current signal input.
