(Child Lock)
You can deactivate tile buttons on the unit
(except lk)r 11_)) for pre_enling misoperatiom
such as child mischief (child lock fimction).
When the child lock fimction is activated, the
buttons on the unit are locked and "(2_e_" lights
up in the li'ont panel display. (You can operate
the system by using the remote.)

• When you operate the buttons on the unit while the
child lock function is om "CHILD LOCK" appears in
the front panel display.

Press SYSTEM MENU.
2 Press ,I,14,repeatedly until "CHILD
LOCK" appears in the front panel
display, then press @ or -.).
3 Press ,I,/4, to select a setting.
The default setting is underlined.
• "OFF": Child lock function ofT.
• "ON": Child lock fimction on.

Press (_.
The setting is made.
5 Press SYSTEM MENU.
The system menu turns off.
• You can activate the child lock function by pressing
• for more than 5 seconds (" C_,M " lights up in the
front panel display).
To cancel press • for more than 5 seconds so that
"O.=n "disappears from Ihe front panel display.
To remove a disc while the child
lock function is on
Press ,6, on the remote and press DISC SKIP
repeatedly until the desired DISC indicator (1-5)
lights tip.
To insert a disc while the child
lock function is on
Press _ on the remote to open the disc tray and
press DISC SKIP repeatedly until the desired
[)IS(7 indicator (1-5) lights up, then place a disc
on the tray and press ,6, on the remote.
