® This function is convenient when recording the contents of a
CD onto.a cassette tape.
WHAT IS COMPU PROGRAM EDIT?
This function automatically rearranges the order in which tracks
are played back, so as to allow the closest possible matching of
playback time to the time designated.
The unit will automatically select the tape length (46, 60, or 90
minutes) which will allow recording of all the tracks on the disc,
then program the tracks.
WHAT IS AUTO PROGRAM
EDIT?
® This function programs the playback of that many CD tracks
(beginning with the first and progressing in order) that can be
contained within the time designated.

Press the EDIT button once.

In about three seconds, the unit will program the record-
ing order to match the length of tape which will hold ail
the tracks.
To perform compu program edit by designating the
length of tape to be used
When the TRACK
SEARCH
buttons are used:
1.
Press the EDIT button.
@ When the button is pressed once, the player will enter the
Compu Program Edit mode.
® When the button is pressed twice, the player will enter the
Auto Program Edit mode.
2.
Press the [i4<] or the [PP!] buttons to set the
length (time) of the tape desired.
@ Each time the buttons are pressed, the time setting will
change in the following order:

ORDINATEUR ?
Cette fonction modifie automatiquement !'ordre dans lequel les pis-
tes sont reproduites, afin que la durée de reproduction soit la plus
proche possible-de la durée désignée.
L'unité sélectionnera automatiquement la longueur de bande (46,
60 ou 90 minutes) qui permettra |'enregistrement de toutes les pis-
tes sur le disque, puis programmera
les pistes.
QU'EST-CE QUE L'EDITION DE PROGRAMME
AUTOMATIQUE
?
Cette fonction programme la reproduction du nombre de pistes d'un
disque compact {en commencant par la premiére et en progressant
dans l'ordre) qui peuvent étre contenues dans la durée désignée.

Appuyer une fois sur la touche EDIT.
@ Aprés environ 3 secondes, l'unité aura programmé |'ordre
d'enregistrement pour correspondre a la longueur de la
bande qui pourra contenir toutes les pistes.
Pour effectuer une édition programmée par ordina-
teur en spécifiant la durée de la bande 4 utiliser.
Lorsque les touches de recherche de piste (TRACK
SEARCH) sont utilisées :
1. Appuyer sur la touche EDIT.
@ Lorsque la touche est enfoncée une fois, le lecteur passe
dans le mode d'édition de programme automatique.
@ Lorsque la touche est enfoncée deux fois, le lecteur passe
dans le mode d'édition programmée par ordinateur.
2.
Appuyer sur la touche [<<] ou [PP1] pour régler
la longueur (durée) désirée de la bande.
@ Chaque fois que ces touches sont enfoncées, le réglage
de la durée change dans !'ordre suivant :

Appuyer une nouvelle fois sur la touche EDIT.
