FIC1(MC80F0208) controll all the system include SMPS Block, Back-end(DVD CODEC) and A/V Multiplexer,
LED Display, Real time clock IC(Only for ASIA and CIS model) etc.
And also it contol Aspet Ratio(whether 4:3 or 16:9) and Hook-up detection(whether there are only CVBS or
acompanied with RGB) of 2EA of SCART terminal.
One of the major change is that - EEPROM(discripted as "DIC5" in schemetic) to store buyer option is move to
Back-end Block or MAIN Board.
it is controlled by S5L3210 MPEG CODE via IIC bus communication.
So, the Micom Option can be inputted after S5L32310 is activated.
in other word, Micom option can not inputted both in stanby mode and before completing booting process.
DVD-R155 use New LED Display Driver IC (AIC1) to reduce material cost..
The name of New IC is "IK2102" and mad by IK Semicon.
And to support back-up option for ASIA Model and CIS model, DVD-R155 use new IC for Real-Time Clock
reading.
the name is "IN1307" and discripted as "FIC2" in schemetic.
