13-2-3 HA118827 AV Multiplexer for Input and ouput
ΠΠOperation of HA118827
DVD-R155 use HA118827(IC216) AV Multiplexer of Renesass Technology.
This IC does All the Input and ouput switching both for Analog Audio and Analog Video.
HA118827 is contolled by IIC of FIC1(MC80F0208 Micro Controller)
1. Video Input selction
There are 4 EA of CVBS(Composite Video basband Signal)input source for DVD-155 Euro Model.
- SCART1(AV1)
- SCART2(AV2)
- AV3 RCA Input(in Front Pannel),
- Analog Tuner.
Only one of these CVBS signals is selected by HA118827(IC216) A/V Multiplexer and inputted to SAA7138
Video Decoder in MAIN Board.
2. Audio Input selection
There are 4 pair of Analog Baseband Audio Input source for DVD-R155 Euro Model.
- SCART1(AV1)
- SCART2(AV2)
- AV3 RCA Input(in Front Pannel),
- Analog Tuner.
Only one pair of Analog Audio is selected by HA118827, and inputted to built-in Audio ADC in S5L3210 A/V
CODEC in MAIN Board.
3. Switching Control for 2 EA of Euro-SCART Terminal
HA118827 have separated ouput port for 2 EA of CVBS ouput and Analog Audio(each L and Rchannel) for
establish complex switching control for 2EA of SCART Terminal.
It passthrough CVBS-Analog stereo Audio from input terminal of AV1 ouput terminal of AV2 in Stanby mode.
And it connect A/V Signal from Analog Tuner and AV2 ouput when using External Decoder for scrambled
Broadcast signal (External Decoder mode) and ouputs inputted signal form AV2 via AV1.
4. Y/C Mixing and Video Amplifier.
HA118827 does not need CVBS input from Video Encoder. It mix Y(Luminace) of S-Video and C(Crominace) of
S-video and derive CVBS signal.
fianally, 6EA of Video signal (CVBS, Y of S-Video, C of S-Video, Y(B), Pb(B), Pr(R) is amplified by 6dB and
ouputted via 75ohm Driver in HA118827.
5.Audio Amplifier
HA118827 have built in 6dB amplifier for 2 pair of Analog Audio ouput.
it connected SCART1 and SCART2 individually for reason same with above
