You can adjust the speaker settings manually
without performing
the Quick Setup.
Select the speakers you will use, set the speaker
distance fiom your listening
position,
and then
adjust the sound level for each speaker. You can
adjust the sound level by using the [TEST
TONE1 function.

Set the distance of the fiont and center speakers
from the listening
position.
For the best possible
surround sound, place all
speakers at the same distance fiom the listening
position.
The distance can be between
1.0 to 7.0

0.0 to 7.0 meters 2) (0 to 23 ft) for the ceuter
speaker.
If you cannot place the center speaker at the
same distance, you can move the center speaker
up to 1.6 meters closer to the listening position.

Set the distance for the surround
speakers from
the listening position.
For the best possible
surround sound, place all
speakers at the same distance from the listening
position. The distance can be between

If you cannot place surround speakers at the
same distance, you can move the surround
speakers
up to 5.0 meters (16 fi) closer to the
listening position.

You can adjust the sound level of the front
speakers,
center speaker, and subwoofer.
You
can set the parameters
fi'om -6.0 dB to 0 dB for
[L/R1,
a nd from -6.0 dB to +6.0 dB for
[CENTER]
and [SUBWOOFER].
Be sure to set
[TEST TONE1 to [ON1 for easy adjustment.
[L/RI 0.0 dB: Set the front speaker level.
[CENTERI 0.0 dB: Set the center speaker level.
[SUBWOOFER] +2.0 dB: Set the subwoofer
level.
• [LEVEL (SURROUND)]
You can adjust the sound level of the surround
speakers. You can set the parameter from -6.0
dB to +6.0 dB. Set [TEST TONE1 to [ON1for
easy adjustment.
[L/R] 0.0 dB: Set the surround speaker level.
• [TEST TONE]
You can adjust the sound level of the speakers
by using the [TEST TONE] function.
[OFF]: The test tone is not emitted from the
speakers.
