Function Indications
The various mode and function settings are indicated
by the Function Indicators.
The appropriate indicator will light when the corre-
sponding mode or function has been selected.

Operation Mode
Typewriter (TPWR) Mode
MODE
This
selects
the
operation
mode.
Each time the MODE Key is
pressed, the Operation Mode
Indicators will alternate be-
tween " T P W R " , "L/L", or
" J U S T " Mode.
The characters entered will be printed immediately.
Margin and tab settings are executed in this mode. Set
the margins and tabs in this mode.
Line by Line (L/L) Printing Mode
When character keys are pressed, the respective
characters appear on the LCD Display and can be
edited (inserted, deleted, corrected) on the display
before they are printed.
When the RETURN Key or TAB Key is pressed, the
characters in the line are printed.
