• If you select surround setting while pl_ying a DVD, the player does not output Dolby Digital
signals fi'om the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL or COAXIAL)jack
(when you set
"Dolby Digital" to "D-PCM").
• If you connect a component that does not conform to the selected audio signal, a loud noise
(or no sound) will come out fi'om the speakers, affecting your ears or causing the speaker_ to
be damaged.
