BASIC CONNECTIONS
RACCORDEMENTS DE BASE
Proceed as follows with the set-up and con-
nections.
1. Place the units from top to bottom in the order
SP-P920 (GR-P720), SX-P920 (SX-P720), PD-
P720T (PD-P920M) and CT-P920WR (CT-
P720WR).
2. Connect the system cable as shown in the illus-
tration.
System cable connections:
Insert the connector until it locks, thus ensuring that it
is connected. When disconnecting the connector, pull it
in the opposite direction while pressing the left and right
tabs.

lation et les raccordements.
1. Placer les unités de haut en bas dans I'ordre de
SP-P920 (GR-P720), SX-P920 (SX-P720), PD-
P720T (PD-P920M) et CT-P920WR (CT-
P720WR).
2. Raccorder le cable de systeme comme indiqué
dans I'illustration.
Connexions du cable de systéme :
Insérer le connecteur jusqu'a ce qu'il se bloque, garan-
tissant ainsi qu'il est bien branché, Pour débrancher le con-
necteur, le tirer dans le sens opposé tout en appuyant sur
les languettes gauche et droite.
3. Connect the FM T-type antenna @ and the AM
loop antenna (1) to the receiver's antenna ter-
minals.
4. Connect the speaker cords ©) to the SPEAKERS
terminal. Connect the ''@"' terminals on the
receiver to the ''@"' terminals on the speakers,
the ''©"' terminals on the receiver to the ''O"'
terminals on the speakers.
3. Raccorder l'antenne FM de type T @) et
l'antenne cadre AM (1) aux bornes d'antenne de
l'ampli-syntoniseur.
4. Brancher les cordons d'enceintes (©) aux bornes
SPEAKERS. Raccorder les bornes '''@"' de
l'ampli-syntoniseur aux bornes ''"@'' sur les
enceintes et les bornes ''©'' de I'ampli-
syntoniseur aux bornes ''@"' sur les enceintes.
@ Speaker cords
® Twist the strands.
© Push away.
@ Pull back.
NOTE:
Do not allow the conductors of the cords to project out
of the terminals or to come into contact with other con-
ductors. A breakdown or failure may occur when con-
ductors touch.
Precautions for the S-P920:
®@ Be careful not to block the lower port opening on the
rear side of the speaker.
® The sponge located in the lower port opening on the
front side of the speaker is damping material placed
there in order to improve sound quality; do not touch
or remove the sponge.
Speaker impedance
Connect speaker systems with a nominal impedance rang-
ing from 8Q to 160.

REMARQUE:
Ne pas laisser sortir les conducteurs des cordons hors des
bornes et entrer en contact avec d'autres conducteurs.
Une panne ou un court-circuit peut se produire si les con-
ducteurs se touchent.
Précautions pour le S-P920 :
®@ Faire attention de ne pas obstruer l'ouverture inférieure
sur le c6té arriére de l'enceinte.
® L'éponge située dans I'ouverture inférieure sur le cété
avant de I'enceinte est un matériau d'amortissement
qui est placé /a afin d'améliorer la qualité sonore ; ne
pas toucher ni retirer cette éponge.
Impédance des enceintes
Raccorder un systéme d'enceintes ayant une impédance
nominale de 8 4 16 ohms. 9
