4.4.3

Speed of the coolant in the pipes

OBLIGATION:
The designer of the plant is responsible for the precise sizing of the pipes in accordance with the
speed of the fluid in the pipes as shown below.
It is necessary to consider sufficiently high fluid speeds to allow an effective return of the lubricating oil to the compressor.
At the same time, sufficiently low fluid speeds must be evaluated to avoid pipe erosion and water hammer due to electric valve
closures.

Thickness of the pipes

Pipe thicknesses must be respected otherwise the warranty will be forfeited.
