CONNECTIONS

Front speaker (R)
Before making or changing the connections, switch
off the power switch and disconnect the power cord
from the AC outlet.
@ Use this unit on a flat surface.
@ Be sure to connect an antenna. If you do not, broadcast signal
reception will not be possible.

1. Connect AM loop antenna and FM antenna to the unit's
antenna terminals.
2. Connect the speaker cords to the SPEAKERS terminal.
Terminal type:
Connect the "+" terminals on the CD cassette deck receiver to
the "+" terminals on the speakers, the "—" terminals on the CD
cassette deck receiver to the "—" terminals on the speakers.
Speaker with cord type:
Connect the red cords to the "+" (red) terminals and the black
cords to the "-" (black) terminals.

NOTE:
Do not allow the conductors of the cords to project out of the
terminals or to come into contact with other conductors, A break-
down or failure may occur when conductors touch.
Speaker impedance
Connect speaker systems with a nominal impedance range from
BQto 16Q.
Surround (rear) speaker system connection (Sold sepa-
rately)
eConnect the plugs properly.
Use speaker systems equipped with standard RCA pin plugs.
Surround (rear) speakers must have a nominal impedance of
16 Q or more.
