Changing the settings
Once the ratings settings have been set, you first need to enter
the password to change them.
[1] Select "Ratings" in the "SETUP MENU" and press ENTER.

Sets whether the disc resume memory is retained after power
off, opening of the disc tray, switching of the current disc or
switching of the function (ON) or not (OFF).
After these operations, playback starts either from the previous
stopped point (ON), or from the beginning of the disc (OFF).
Note that setting Disc Resume to OFF does not turn off the
resume playback feature itself. For the resume function, see
"Stopping and Pausing", page 17.
The default setting is "OFF".

When the Disc Resume is ON
When a disc is loaded, the unit checks whether it holds the
resume memory data for the disc. If so, "RESUME?" is displayed
on the screen before the unit enters the stop mode.
In this condition, playback starts from the previous stopped point
by pressing <>.
To start play from the beginning temporarily during Disc
Resume ON
Press Ml in stop mode and then press <4» to start playback.
"RESUME OFF' is displayed in this case.
*The unit maintains the resume data of up to 5 DVDs and up to
a total of 10 audio CDs and video CDs.
*When the 6th DVD disc or the 11th audio CD or video CD is
inserted, the resume data for the oldest disc is overwritten by
the disc information of the new disc and deleted, even when
Disc Resume is set to OFF.
