a To turn off the timer function:
@ Press the CHARACTER/timer button.
@® Use the ES), &) buttons to select the "TIMER REC"
mode.
@) Press the SET button.
The display unit's timer indicator ( e-© ) will turn
off.
@ During timer recording, the volume level is auto-
matically set to "0," and no sound is produced from
the speakers.
@ During timer recording, the selected timer settings
operate once only, after which the timer operation
is automatically turned off.
NOTE:
Following timer recording, the sound volume auto-
matically remains set at "0".

@ Combined application (wake-up timer + timer re-
cording)

NOTES:
@ When using the wake-up timer and timer record-
ing functions contiguously, at least one minute must
be left between the end of one function and the
beginning of the other function.
@ /fnointerval is left between the set times, the func-
tion scheduled afterwards will not operate accord-
ing to its set time.
@ Combined application (sleep timer + wake-up timer)
Example: Go to sleep listening to a CD, and wake
up to an FM broadcast.

NOTES:
@ When multiple timer settings overlap, the function
set to operate earliest will be given priority.
@ /f overlapping start times are set, timer recording
will be given priority in wake-up timer operations.
