Before making or changing the connections, switch off the power and disconnect the power
cord from the AC outlet.

Be sure to connect an antenna. If you do not, broadcast signa! reception will not be possible.
@ Extend the FM antenna so that it is stretched out
tautly. Do not allow it to hang loose or leave it coiled
up.

The FM antenna serves as a simple and conven-
ient means of receiving FM stations. For better re-
ception, use a dedicated FM antenna.
When reception quality is insufficient
with the supplied antennas
@® Purchase and connect outdoor AM and FM
antennas (available commercially).

There are three ways of setting the AM antenna.
Indoor AM antenna
