3. CH4 Controls
CH4 is a mono input channel dedicated to monitoring (-20
dBm). The signal that is input to CH4 will not be output from
the LINE OUT section, but will be output only from the inter-
nal speaker and from the headphones. This is a very convenient
way to provide sound that is meant only for the performer,
such as the talkback from the main PA console, or a click track
to play to when using sequencer accompaniment, etc.
* If your setup does not use line outputs, CH4 can be used in
the same way as the other channels.
4. Line Out Controls
Three independent output jacks (+4 dBm) are provided for
line out: MONO, L, and R. These are balanced phone jack out-
puts. Use the line out level (LEVEL) to control the volume.
5. Master Controls
These controls control the output of the built-in speaker and
the PHONES jack. Two-band tone control with Low and High
is provided. The ideally tuned equalization provides a versa-
tile tonal range. The PHONES output provides plenty of
power even for high-volume stage situations. When head-
phones are connected to the PHONES jack, the internal speak-
er will be silent.
* Before connecting or disconnecting headphones, be sure to
turn down the VOLUME
control for the MASTER
CON-
TROL section to 0.
