OWNER'S MANUAL
We'd like to take a moment to thank you for purchasing the Roland KC-300
Stereo Mixing Keyboard Amplifier.
Before using this unit, carefully read the sections entitled: "IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS" (p. 2), "USING THE UNIT SAFELY" (p. 3), and "IMPORTANT
NOTES" (p. 4). These sections provide important information concerning the
proper operation of the unit. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have
gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit, this manual
should be read in its entirety. The manual should be saved and kept on hand as a
convenient reference.
Main Features
¢ This keyboard amplifier is designed to offer the utmost in sound-quality while
being compatible with today's digital keyboards.
* A 12 inch (30 cm) speaker and a horn driver are contained in a compact and
light package together with a 100-watt amplifier that delivers a truly high-pow-
ered output.
Four input channels are provided, and 6 mono inputs can be accommodated.
CH1 provides a balanced input dedicated to microphone plus a separate line
input.
CH2 and CH3 allow stereo input.
CH4 provides a monitor function specially designed for keyboard players.
* The volume of the LINE OUT section can be adjusted independently from the
master volume setting. Signals that are input in stereo can be output transparent-
ly to external devices from the balanced stereo output, as well as from the dedi-
cated mono output, meeting the needs of a variety of setups.
The Stereo Link function allows two KC-300 units to be used, so you can obtain
even more impressive renditions of the stereo signal from your keyboard.
Stand adapters are provided for compatibility with speaker stands. By using a
speaker stand, the KC-300 can be placed at the height ideal for monitoring.
