To avoid malfunctions, be especially careful about the following
points.

Do not place any object other than a disc on the disc table.

Do not move the player while a disc is playing. This will cause
the disc to be scratched.

Be careful not to catch your finger in the disc table section
while the disc table is being retracted into the unit. Also, be
careful that children do not put their hands into the inside of the
unit while the disc table is open. This may cause injury.
To play and listen to a disc without connecting this unit to an
audio system:
Plug headphones into the PHONES jack on the front panel of this
unit and adjust the volume with LEVEL control.
Precautions concerning disc loading

Do not place more than one disc on the disc table. If two discs
are placed one on top of the other on the disc table, discs may
be scratched and/or maifunction may occur.

With this unit, playback of all types of discs is carried out without
the use of adapters. Therefore, do not use any type of adapter
with this unit.

With CDs, CDV discs, and single-sided LDs, always be sure to
load discs with the label side facing upward.
Last Memory function:
lf the power is turned off during LD playback, a playback position
slightly ahead of the current frame is stored in the unit's memory
{Last Memory). When the power is turned back on and playback
begins from the memorized position by pressing PLAY/PAUSE (s/#8).
