Landscape Program
Use this
Program whenever you're making a picture of a distant
scene. Don't use flash-the scene may be too far.
Landscape
Program
tends to
select a slow shutter speed and
smaller aperture to assure sharply
focused landscape
pictures.
To avoid camera
shake,
use
a tripod.
Recommended
AF
Nikkor
lenses:
Select
lens
according
to
the
desired effect.
If
you want an expansive view,
use
a
wideangle
lens. If
you prefer
to
emphasize your subject
by
magnifying
it,
use a
telephoto lens.

Close-Up Program
Use this Program
when you are
taking pictures
up close-a
flower,
an ornamental detail
,
a
butterfly,
or
if
you are copying a
picture.
Do
not
use
flash.
To
avoid camera shake, use a
tripod.
