7.3. Controller Setup

Set up the controller.

7.3.1.

Starting the Sysmac Studio and Loading the Project File

Start the Sysmac Studio Automation Software and load the Sysmac Studio Project File.

Install the Sysmac Studio and USB driver on the PC beforehand. In addition, connect the PC

and the controller with a USB cable, and turn ON the power supply to the controller.

Start the Sysmac Studio.

Click Import.

* If a user account control dialog

box is displayed at startup,

select the option to start.

The Import file Dialog Box is

displayed. Select the project file

OMRON_V460_NJ_ETN(TCP)_

V100.csm2 (Sysmac Studio

Project File) and click Open.

* Obtain the latest version of the

Sysmac Studio Project File

from the OMRON website.

The OMRON_

V460_NJ_ETN(TCP)_V100

Project Window is displayed.

The window consists of three

panes: "Multiview Explorer" on

the left side, "Edit Pane" in the

center, and "Toolbox" on the

right side.
