OPERATING UNIT
CAUTION: Avoid injury! Learn the
use of the control levers. Practice at
half throttle until becoming proficient
and comfortable with the operation
of the unit.
Do not move control levers from
forward to reverse or reverse to
forward position rapidly. Sudden
direction changes could cause loss
of control or damage the unit.
CAUTION: Avoid injury! ALWAYS
back up slowly and be sure of your
footing. Look down and behind
before and while backing.
IMPORTANT: Operate unit only when in the
operator's position directly behind controls.

(988153, 154, 155, 169)
The speed control levers are interlocked and
are used to set the unit's fastest forward
speed.
The steering control levers allow independent
control of each hydraulic drive pump to steer,
operate in forward and reverse, and stop the
unit.
The steering lever latches hold the steering
levers in neutral.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. When
the engine is running and the speed
control levers are engaged,
releasing only one steering latch
causes the unit to circle around one
drive wheel.
ALWAYS hold both steering levers
in the neutral position when
releasing the steering lever latches.
ALWAYS release levers slowly.
