Do not apply too much pressure when operating the screen.
Only a light touch is required to operate the screen. Applying too much pressure may damage the surface.
Handling the screen
Do not apply strong pressure to the screen outside of the LCD display.
Applying strong pressure to the screen outside of the display area may result in malfunctions or damage to the LCD screen.
Do not apply excessive force to the screen.
Do not place any objects on the LCD screen. Any of the above may cause the screen glass to break, or may damage the LCD screen.
Operation response may be slower in low temperature environments.
The screen may respond to operations more slowly when using the computer in temperatures less than 5 °C {41°F}, but this is not a malfunction.
Response time will return to normal when the computer is returned to room temperature.
If the pointer jumps to a location other than where the screen was touched, or if the LCD resolution changes, recalibrate the screen.
Perform the procedure of
Handling the dedicated pen (optional)
Clean the dedicated pen tip and screen prior to operation.
Foreign particles can scratch the screen and impede the operation of the dedicated pen.
Use only the dedicated pen to touch the screen.
Using it for any other purpose may damage the dedicated pen and result in scratches on the screen.
The pointer cannot follow the dedicated pen movement if you move the dedicated pen too quickly.
When using peripheral devices
Follow these instructions and this Manual to avoid any damage to the devices. Carefully read the instruction manuals of the peripheral devices.
Use the peripheral devices conforming to the computer's specifications.
Connect to the connectors in the correct direction.
If it is hard to insert, do not try forcibly but check the connector's shape, direction, alignment of pins, etc.
If screws are included, fasten them securely.
Remove the cables when you carry the computer. Do not pull the cables forcibly.
Preventing your computer from unauthorized use via wireless LAN/Bluetooth/wireless WAN

Before using wireless LAN/Bluetooth/wireless WAN, make the appropriate security settings such as data encryption.
Battery Recalibration
The battery recalibration may take a long time due to the large battery capacity. This is not a malfunction.

Full charge: Approximately 2.5 hours (with FZ-VZSU94W) / Approximately 4.5 hours (with FZ-VZSU95W (optional)
Complete discharge: Approximately 2.5 hours (with FZ-VZSU94W) / Approximately 5.0 hours (with FZ-VZSU95W (optional)
<Only for FZ-M1G-series models>
Full charge: Approximately 2.5 hours (with FZ-VZSU94W) / Approximately 4.5 hours (with FZ-VZSU95W (optional)
Complete discharge: Approximately 4.0 hours (with FZ-VZSU94W) / Approximately 9.0 hours (with FZ-VZSU95W (optional)
When performing "Battery Recalibration" without shutting down Windows, it may take more time to charge / discharge.
Battery duration
Note that the computer consumes electricity even when the computer power is off. If the battery pack is fully charged, the battery will fully discharge in the
following period of time:
"Calibrating the
Screen".
