    Turning On / Turning Off Turning On Press and hold the power switch until the power indicator lights. ( Description of Parts) N O T E <Only for FZ-M1G-series models> The LED may turn off for a few seconds immediately after the computer is turned on. This is not a malfunction. Do not press the power switch repeatedly.

    Screen Input Operation The screen of your computer allows you to perform the same operations as a mouse by touching its surface. The computer supports, using your fingers and the dedicated pen (optional). N O T E This computer has adopted a capacitance type touch screen. Note that the touch screen may respond to the following: Putting the dedicated pen (optional) or finger close to the screen.

    You can keep the setting as [Enable] even if the default setting is [Disable] on “Windows button in Touch (Water)”. Settings can be made by using the Panasonic PC Settings Utility. You can reset the touch screen by pressing Windows button when the touch screen cannot be used or the pen cannot be used in the [Pen] / [Pen/Touch] mode.

    Important Tips Important Battery Tips N O T E <Only for model with Built-in Bridge Battery> The computer is equipped with a built-in bridge battery (not replaceable) and a battery pack (replaceable). How to use the battery with minimal deterioration The battery is a consumable and, as such, its performance will gradually deteriorate.

    To cancel the battery recalibration, press power switch The temperature range should be 10°C to 30°C {50°F to 86°F}. Frequent recalibration of the battery can degrade the battery. A caution message appears when the battery recalibration is performed at the shorter interval than approximately a month. In this case, cancel the battery recalibration. If the computer is turned off during the battery recalibration (e.g., due to power failure, or accidental removal of the AC adaptor and bat- tery pack), the battery recalibration will not be completed.
