Concrete Anchor Foundation
1. Frame is assembled out of 4 x 4 treated lumber,
appropriate hardware, and prefabricated
concrete anchors (sold separately).
2. Assemble 4 x 4 pieces to dimensions shown
(See Figure A.) Trim wood to fit. Confirm assembly
is square and level. Diagonal dimensions,
from outside corners should be 122-1/8".
3. Assemble frame together using hardware.

4. Dig a hole for each concrete anchor in
locations shown (See Figure A.) Holes should
be slightly oversized and deep enough so
installed frame almost rests on the ground.
5. Place an anchor in each hole, and the frame
on the anchors. Use a level on the frame to
confirm anchors are sunk to proper depth.
If an anchor needs to be raised, partially fill
hole under anchor with sand or gravel.
6. With frame level, secure it to the anchors.
Fill holes fully with earth removed previously.
7. Optional: For convenience, frame may
be filled with a proper fill material,
such as gravel (sold separately).
8. Match Floor Plates (16, 17, 34) (See page 8)
lengths to frame base edge lengths. Place
Front Floor Plate (17) on door side of base.
NOTE: Position Floor Plates (16, 17, 34) with their outer
edges overhanging frame outer edges. (See Figure B.)
Do not secure Floor Plates to frame at this time.
