 Connection between the converter unit and the inverter
 Main circuit terminals
• Make pairs of the master units, slave 1 units, and slave 2 units of the inverter and the converter unit. Wire terminal P on
the inverter to terminal P on the converter unit, and do likewise for terminal N. Otherwise, the converter unit and the inverter
may be damaged.
• Use cables of 50 m or shorter each to connect the converter unit and the inverter (for terminal P or N).
• For the wire gauge of the wire across the main circuit terminals P/+ and N/- (P and P, N and N), refer to
Power supply
*1
Do not install an MCCB across terminals P/+ and N/- (between terminals P and P/+ or between terminals N and N/-). Connecting the opposite
polarity of terminals N/- and P/+ will damage the inverter.
 Control circuit terminals
• Wiring both of control circuits in the master converter unit and the master inverter is required. Wire correctly to ensure the
command transmission from the converter unit to the inverter. Otherwise, the converter unit and the inverter may be
damaged.
• The wiring length should be 30 m maximum between the control circuit terminals.

For the X10 signal input, set "10" in any parameter from Pr.178 to Pr.189 (Input terminal function selection) to assign the function. (The X10
signal is assigned to terminal MRS in the initial setting.)
The state of contact at terminal MRS is initially set to normally closed (NC). To change the contact state to normally open (NO), set Pr.599 = "0".
*2
For the X11 signal input, set "11" in any parameter from Pr.178 to Pr.189 (Input terminal function selection) to assign the function.
For RS-485 or any other form of communication where the start command is only transmitted once, use the X11 signal to save the operation
mode at the time of an instantaneous power failure.
*3
Always connect terminal RDA of the converter unit and terminal MRS (X10) of the inverter, and terminal SE of the converter unit and terminal SD
(sink logic) of the inverter. Otherwise, the converter unit may be damaged.
