To change the Maximum Setpoint Limit (Max Setpoint) for the temperature setpoint:
Setting the w ater temperature to the maximum set point can result in scalding hot w ater delivered to the
faucets. It is highly recommended that the maximum setpoint be adjusted to the low est temperature possible
for the needs of the installation. See follow ing section to change the maximum setpoint limit (max setpoint).
Make sure the w ater heater control display is not in a public area that can result in the temperature settings
being improperly adjusted. See previous w arning on scalds and an ASSE approved mixing valve.
Step 1: In service mode press the "Select" button until "Max Setpoint" is displayed.
