The number of scan sequences carried out by the Scanner can be displayed with this func-
tion.
Select U8 in the User mode.

The following display represents that the scan count is 24,612.

System Settings
Auto reset Setting changes made to the control panel
that are not used within 60 seconds of
being input are automatically cancelled
and the system reverts back to the original
settings.
Auto Power Save Sets the unit to enable or disable the Auto
ON/OFF Power Save mode.
* For USA and Canada (120V area), the
Printer Heater Turns the Printer's heater OFF if the sys-
OFF (PR mode tem is left idle for a specific period of
only) time.
* Priority is given to the Power Save
Auto Projection Turns the Scanner's Projection Lamp OFF
Lamp OFF if the system is left idle for a specified
period of time.
* Priority is given to the Power Save
Fine mode Applies the following functions as required:
contrast select Contrast Emphasis: applied when film con-
tains text that is poorly contrasted against
its background making it difficult to read.
Outline Emphasis: applied when film con-
tains blurred black and white images.
