Louver direction

CAUTION
Point the louver horizontally during cooling
If pointing downward for cooling, dew may form on the
surface of the air discharge or louver and may drop
down.
NOTE
• Do not handle the louver manually.
Doing so may cause a failure.
Use the remote controller to adjust the angle.
To set the louver direction and
auto swing

Press the Menu button several times and select
the wind direction mode to blink the wind direction.
Then, press the setting button several times to
display the louver direction as shown in the gure
below.
• If you do not press any button for 30s, the wind
direction mode nishes.
For fan mode
The louver can be adjusted to six steps.

For cooling mode
The louver can be adjusted to four steps.
Point the louver horizontally. If pointing downward,
dew may form on the surface of the air discharge
port and may drop down.

The SWING indicator is displayed and the louver
begins swinging.

4-way cassette type
Point the louver horizontally.
• The louver automatically closes when running is
stopped.

1-way cassette type
Point the louver horizontally to send cool air across the
entire room.
• The louver automatically closes when running is
stopped.
■
High-Wall type
Vertical adjustment
Point the louver vertical to send cool air across the
entire room.

Horizontal adjustment
• The louver automatically closes when running is
stopped.

Under ceiling type
Vertical adjustment
Point the louver horizontally to send cool air across the
entire room.
• The louver automatically closes when running is
stopped.
Horizontal air flow adjustment
To change the horizontal air ow direction, point the
vertical louvers inside the horizontal louver in your
preferred direction.
NOTE
• When the horizontal louver is pointing downward in
COOL mode, water droplets may form on the surface
of the cabinet or louver and drop down.
