3.3. Dual Transducer Ports – 1×Dual-Band CHIRP (FCV-800)
The
FCV-800
is
compatible
with
Airmar 1 kW dual-band CHIRP
transducers.
In this example, the B265LH is used at
the Pacific Ocean off the coast of
Wakayama prefecture with rough tidal
current. Thermocline layers, which
contain many planktons, are well
detected, so that you can see that
three (3) tidal current layers are
present from the surface to the
bottom.
See
Section 5.3 – Case 3
for details
of connection procedure.
3.4. Wireless LAN – Remote Display
The second display can be networked as a SUB display via Wireless LAN. Echoes, NAV data, and most menu
settings are shared between Master and SUB displays. While installing the Master FCV-600/800 at the helm, the
SUB display can be installed at the stern or bow, where you can monitor the Fish Finder screen while dropping a
jig/weight.
See
Section 6
for details of available remote display options and combinations.
Note:
The built-in wireless LAN module is approved in US, Canada, NZ, AU, EU, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Brazil, and South
Africa.
