3. Expanded Connectivity
3.1. Dual Transducer Ports – CW + Single-Band CHIRP (FCV-800)
Conventionally, CW type transducers with 50/200 kHz have been utilized for ACCU-FISH™ and Bottom Discrimination
functions. While these functions require transmission by dual frequency – 50/200 kHz, they are not available with
single-band CHIRP. With the FCV-800, dual transducer ports are available for simultaneous connection of CW and
single-band CHIRP transducers. While showing crisp echoes from CHIRP on the screen, ACCU-FISH™ and
Bottom Discrimination are also processed using the CW transducer transmitted in the background and
overlaid on the screen.
